Harsh Metalloys, based in Mumbai, India, is a renowned manufacturer and supplier of premium-quality Stainless Steel 904L Sheets and Plates. Designed for performance in extremely corrosive environments, these sheets and plates are manufactured using high-grade raw materials and state-of-the-art processing techniques. Known for their durability, weldability, and resistance to strong acids and chloride-rich conditions, 904L sheets and plates meet global standards such as ASTM B625. Harsh Metalloys offers a variety of thicknesses, widths, and surface finishes to cater to industries like chemical processing, marine, pharmaceuticals, pulp & paper, and oil & gas.
Stainless Steel 904L Sheets and Plates are composed of a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel with 19–23% Chromium, 23–28% Nickel, 4–5% Molybdenum, 1–2% Copper, and low carbon content. This formulation offers exceptional resistance to sulfuric, phosphoric, and acetic acids as well as chloride-induced corrosion. These sheets and plates exhibit tensile strength around 71 ksi (490 MPa), yield strength near 31 ksi (220 MPa), and excellent ductility with ~35% elongation. They remain non-magnetic in all conditions and are highly weldable and formable, ensuring strong performance even in aggressive, high-temperature, and high-pressure environments.
