Harsh Metalloys, located in Mumbai, India, stands out as a top manufacturer and supplier of Stainless Steel 446 Sheets and Plates. These products are celebrated for their remarkable resistance to high-temperature oxidation and corrosion. Crafted from ferritic stainless steel, Grade 446 boasts a high chromium content, making it perfect for extreme service conditions. Available in a variety of thicknesses, widths, and finishes, these sheets and plates cater to the diverse needs of various industries. Harsh Metalloys ensures that their precision-engineered 446 stainless steel products meet international standards like ASTM A240 and ASME SA240, serving sectors such as heat treatment, power generation, and chemical processing.
Stainless Steel 446 Sheets and Plates are ferritic alloys that contain about 23–27% Chromium, with minimal Nickel and small amounts of Molybdenum and other elements to boost oxidation resistance. They show excellent scale resistance at temperatures reaching up to 1100°C. These plates have a tensile strength of around 485 MPa and a yield strength of about 275 MPa. While they may have lower ductility compared to austenitic steels, 446 plates still offer good corrosion and oxidation resistance, particularly in sulfur-rich and high-temperature settings. Their thermal conductivity and ability to resist warping under heat make them ideal for components in furnaces and heat exchangers.

Stainless Steel 446 Hot Rolled Sheets resist high temperature oxidation and corrosion. It comes in standard sheet thickness ranging from 3mm to 50mm width up to 2000 mm and is the choice for many aggressive environments high-heat applications.
Stainless Steel 446 Cold Rolled Plates offer excellent surface finish and dimensional accuracy. Resistant to high-temperature oxidation and corrosion, these plates are available in thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 6 mm and widths up to 1500 mm. They are used in applications requiring precise tolerances.
Stainless Steel 446 Chequered Plates come in a better slip resistance, which is more rugged. They contain a raised pattern on the top surface and, thus, they possess excellent resistance against corrosion. Their common thickness is 2 mm to 10 mm while dimensions are usually 1000 mm x 2000 mm. It suits best for industrial usage and floor purposes.
Stainless Steel 446 Perforated Sheets are sheets that combine corrosion-resistance with useful ventilation and filtering design. In various hole configurations and sizes they are offered for the following usual thicknesses-1mm through 5 mm and sheet sizes up to 1200 mm x 2400 mm. More appropriate for application in architectural and industrial use cases.
Stainless Steel 446 Shim Plates are used to fill gaps and provide precise spacing in mechanical assemblies. They offer excellent high-temperature and corrosion resistance in thicknesses ranging from 0.1 mm to 2 mm and dimensions up to 1000 mm x 1000 mm, which is ideal for precision applications.
Stainless Steel 446 Polished Sheets have a smooth, reflective surface and high resistance to corrosion and oxidation at elevated temperatures. Thickness ranges from 0.5 mm to 5 mm and sizes up to 1500 mm x 3000 mm. They are widely used for decorative and high-visibility applications.
Harsh Metalloys is committed to an excellent customer experience with extensive documentation for its premium-quality Stainless Steel 446 Sheets and Plates. We provide necessary documents like commercial invoices, packing lists, fumigation certificates, heat treatment charts, quality assurance plans, and NABL-approved lab test reports. These documents ensure the authenticity and superior quality of our products to our worthy customers. In addition, the Stainless Steel 446 Sheets and Plates we supply are accompanied with a variety of test certificates: MTC to EN 10204/3.1b, PMI Test Certificates, 100% radiography test reports, Third Party Inspection certificates. These, in turn demonstrate our customer-driven approach and unrelenting excellence in our product lines.
Stainless Steel 446 Sheet and Plates are ideal for high-temperature and corrosive applications. They are commonly used in furnace parts, heat exchangers, kiln linings, combustion chambers, and boiler components due to their excellent oxidation resistance. In the petrochemical and power generation sectors, they are used in systems exposed to hot gases and sulfur compounds. These plates are also utilized in exhaust systems, radiant tubes, and incinerators. Their ability to maintain strength and resist scaling under extreme temperatures makes them suitable for industrial environments where other stainless steels may fail or deform.
