**Stainless Steel 304/304L** is made up of Chromium (18–20%), Nickel (8–12%), and low Carbon (≤0.08% for 304 and ≤0.03% for 304L), which together provide outstanding corrosion resistance and strength. These materials have a tensile strength of around 515 MPa and a yield strength of 205 MPa, along with impressive elongation and toughness. The lower carbon content in 304L minimizes the risk of intergranular corrosion after welding, making it ideal for high-weld applications.
