Stainless Steel 439 Sheets and Plates generally consist of 17–19% Chromium and are stabilized with Titanium to improve weldability and resistance to intergranular corrosion. The carbon content is kept low (≤ 0.03%) to avoid sensitization during welding. SS 439 boasts a tensile strength ranging from 415–585 MPa and offers good ductility. It shows excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and high-temperature oxidation.
