Harsh Metalloys is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Stainless Steel 316/316L Sheet and Plates in Mumbai, India, offering premium quality products for diverse industrial applications. These sheets and plates are manufactured using high-grade austenitic stainless steel, known for its exceptional corrosion resistance, especially against chlorides and other industrial solvents. 316 offers higher strength and temperature resistance, while 316L has lower carbon content to prevent carbide precipitation during welding. Available in a variety of thicknesses, finishes, and dimensions, our SS 316/316L sheets and plates conform to international standards like ASTM A240 and are ideal for demanding environments.
Stainless Steel 316/316L Sheets and Plates contain chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), molybdenum (2–3%), and a low carbon content in 316L (<0.03%) to enhance weldability. 316 has a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa. Both grades offer excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in aggressive environments. Their non-magnetic austenitic structure ensures superior toughness and ductility, even at cryogenic temperatures. 316L’s improved weldability and reduced sensitization risk make it suitable for welded structures.

Stainless Steel 316 Hot Rolled Plates are great plates for numerous applications due to excellent corrosion resistance. The hot rolled plates available vary in size, from 4mm up to 150mm in thickness, and from 2000mm in width.
Stainless Steel 316L Cold Rolled Sheets are famous for their high corrosion resistance. The sheets come in thickness from 0.3mm to 6mm and width up to 2000mm. These sheets offer a smooth finish and are used in applications where precision and aesthetic appeal are required.
The chequered stainless steel 316L sheets have a raised diamond pattern that gives it a better grip and less slipping. The thicknesses of the sheets are from 3mm to 8mm, and sizes are up to 1500mm x 3000mm for flooring and walkways.
Stainless Steel 316 Perforated Plates provide superior corrosion resistance. The products are available in different thicknesses of 0.4mm to 12mm with a range of hole sizes and patterns, suitable for several industrial applications in filtration and ventilation.
Stainless steel 316L shim sheets-very thin material, very sharp, corrosion resisting, with many applications for spacers and other alignment needs in machinery and structurals from 0.05mm up to 3mm with cut options by specific size or width.
Stainless Steel 316L Polished Plates have high corrosion resistance along with a bright mirror finish. The plates come in a variety of thickness, from 0.5mm to 50mm, and sizes up to 2000mm x 6000mm for decorative purposes, architectural applications, and other heavy industrial uses.
Stainless Steel 316/316L Sheet and Plates are widely used in marine, chemical, food processing, pharmaceutical, and architectural industries due to their outstanding resistance to corrosion and oxidation. They are ideal for fabricating storage tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, marine hardware, and surgical instruments. The sheets and plates perform well in acidic and chloride-rich environments, making them suitable for offshore and coastal operations. Their aesthetic finish also makes them a popular choice for decorative and structural applications. Harsh Metalloys provides tailored solutions in terms of size, thickness, and surface finish to meet precise project requirements.
