Stainless Steel Channels are generally manufactured in grades such as 304, 304L, 316, and 316L, with 16–20% chromium, 8–12% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum (in 316 types) to offer superior resistance to corrosion. These channels have mechanical properties of 485–620 MPa tensile strength, high yield strength, and good elongation. Cold rolled or hot rolled as per application, they possess excellent formability, machinability, and weldability.
