Stainless Steel 15-5 PH Plates and Sheets contain around 15% chromium, 5% nickel, and controlled content of copper and niobium. This alloy enables precipitation hardening and delivers high yield strength (maximum 1310 MPa), tensile strength (greater than 1170 MPa), and hardness (maximum 40 HRC) subsequent to proper heat treatment. SS 15-5 PH also possesses superior resistance to stress corrosion cracking and good toughness over a wide range of temperatures.
