Harsh Metalloys, headquartered in Mumbai, India, is a trusted manufacturer and supplier of premium-quality Stainless Steel Electrodes designed for superior welding performance. Our electrodes are formulated to provide excellent arc stability, low spatter, and strong welds across various stainless steel grades. They are suitable for both AC and DC power sources and support various welding processes including SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding). Harsh Metalloys ensures consistent quality, high deposition efficiency, and adherence to international welding standards. We supply stainless steel electrodes to industries such as fabrication, shipbuilding, oil & gas, power generation, and chemical processing across India and globally.
Stainless Steel Electrodes are composed to match specific stainless steel grades, typically containing chromium (16–25%), nickel (8–22%), and elements like molybdenum or titanium for enhanced corrosion resistance and mechanical performance. For example, E308L, E316L, and E347 are common electrode types. These electrodes offer tensile strengths from 70–85 ksi and excellent toughness at both ambient and sub-zero temperatures. They produce welds with high resistance to oxidation, intergranular corrosion, and cracking. Designed for clean, stable arcs and smooth bead finishes, stainless steel electrodes are ideal for critical and aesthetic welding applications.
