Harsh Metalloys, based in Mumbai, India, is a well-respected manufacturer and supplier of Stainless Steel EFW (Electric Fusion Welded) Pipes, crafted for high-performance industrial uses. Our EFW pipes are made from top-notch stainless steel grades like 304, 316, 321, 347, and 904L, which provide outstanding corrosion resistance, structural strength, and durability. We produce these pipes in line with international standards such as ASTM A358, offering a variety of sizes, wall thicknesses, and lengths. Harsh Metalloys supplies stainless steel EFW pipes for applications in chemical processing, power generation, oil & gas pipelines, water treatment, and marine settings.
Stainless Steel EFW Pipes are constructed from austenitic stainless steel that contains 18–25% Chromium and 8–22% Nickel, with optional Molybdenum (found in grades like 316 or 904L) to enhance pitting and corrosion resistance. These pipes boast tensile strength between 485–750 MPa and yield strength from 170–450 MPa, depending on the specific grade and condition. The electric fusion welding technique guarantees robust, clean welds, preserving mechanical performance and resistance to high temperatures and corrosive environments. Their smooth internal surface facilitates excellent fluid flow and minimizes pressure drops in demanding piping systems.

We perform high-quality testing on our materials before delivering them to customers. The tests performed are hardness check, chemical analysis, PMI testing, flattening tests, micro and macro examination. All necessary documents such as sales invoice, packing lists, certificates of origin, and a quality assurance letter are provided. For extra peace of mind, customers can ask for third-party inspection reports.
Yes, Stainless Steel EFW pipes can be used for underground applications due to their corrosion resistance, strength, and durability, making them ideal for transporting fluids and gases in harsh environments.
To select the right Stainless Steel EFW pipes, consider factors like the material grade, pipe size, pressure requirements, environmental conditions, and compatibility with the substances being transported. Consult with an expert if needed.
Stainless Steel EFW pipes are sized based on their nominal diameter (ND) and wall thickness, which determine their strength, pressure capacity, and suitability for various applications. Standard sizing follows industry specifications.
Common grades of stainless steel used in EFW pipe manufacturing include 304, 316, 316L, and 321. These grades offer excellent corrosion resistance, strength, and durability for various industrial applications.
Stainless Steel EFW Pipes are extensively used in high-temperature and corrosive service conditions. They are ideal for applications in oil & gas industries, petrochemical refineries, power generation plants, and offshore drilling platforms. These pipes are also widely used in water treatment facilities, heat exchangers, boilers, and structural piping systems. Due to their hygienic and non-reactive properties, they are suitable for the food processing and pharmaceutical industries. Stainless steel EFW pipes are preferred for transporting gases, steam, and corrosive fluids where strength, durability, and corrosion resistance are critical to system reliability and safety.
