This specific composition allows the material to be heat-treated, achieving Rockwell hardness values of up to 58 HRC. It boasts a tensile strength exceeding 750 MPa and a yield strength of around 450 MPa. While its corrosion resistance is moderate compared to austenitic grades, it performs admirably in dry or mildly corrosive settings. These sheets and plates provide outstanding mechanical strength and wear resistance, making them ideal for machining and polishing tasks.

Stainless Steel 440C Hot Rolled Sheets have a high corrosion resistance and durability to be used for applications that need high strength.
