410S tubings in Stainless Steel 410S are low-carbon, non-hardening martensitic stainless steels with around 11.5–13.5% chromium and lower carbon content to improve weldability and formability. These tubings have moderate corrosion resistance, excellent oxidation resistance up to 650°C, and enhanced toughness compared to the regular 410 grade. Their mechanical properties are tensile strength approximately 415–585 MPa and yield strength approximately 205 MPa. SS 410S also has good ductility and thermal conductivity and hence can be used in forming and high-temperature service conditions in mild corrosive atmospheres.
