Located in Mumbai, India, Harsh Metalloys is a well-known manufacturer and supplier that specialises in providing premium stainless steel 305 tubing. Our SS 305 tubing, which is renowned for providing outstanding performance in cold forming applications, is made with premium-grade raw materials and cutting-edge technology. To satisfy the exact specifications of sectors like food processing, pharmaceuticals, chemical handling, and architecture, we provide a broad range of sizes and finishes. Harsh Metalloys provides dependable and long-lasting tubing solutions that meet customer requirements and international standards thanks to its strong commitment to quality, prompt delivery, and affordable prices.
Compared to SS 304, stainless steel 305 tubing has a higher nickel content and less carbon, with 17–19% chromium and 10.5–13% nickel. Its corrosion resistance is enhanced by this chemistry, which also offers superior cold formability. The tubing normally has an elongation of 40%, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and a tensile strength of about 515 MPa. When annealed, it retains its non-magnetic structure and is particularly well-suited for deep drawing applications. In demanding fabrication processes and moderately corrosive environments, the mechanical properties guarantee dependability and durability.
