Stainless Steel 314 Pipes contain 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel as the major components, with a small amount of silicon, manganese, carbon, and iron. This chemical make-up also confers excellent resistance to oxidation, particularly under high temperatures. The pipes have excellent mechanical strength with the tensile strength of about 600 MPa, the yield strength of around 310 MPa, and elongation of up to 40%. With Brinell hardness of 150 to 200, the SS 314 pipes have structural integrity and strength under heat stress.
