Stainless Steel 440C Pipes contain 16–18% of chromium and 0.95–1.2% of carbon, thus being one of the hardest and most resistant to wear among all stainless steel types. Though 440C has a moderate corrosion resistance, its wear and strength are much greater than austenitic stainless steels.
