SS 347H Pipes are made from stainless steel containing 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and are stabilized with niobium (columbium) to prevent carbide precipitation. This stabilization significantly improves resistance to intergranular corrosion and stress rupture. These pipes offer a tensile strength of 515–760 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa. SS 347H exhibits excellent toughness and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. The alloy maintains structural integrity in high-pressure and thermal applications and is non-magnetic in the annealed condition. It is well-suited for welding and forming processes under demanding service conditions.
