Stainless Steel 304L Pipes are composed of Chromium (18–20%), Nickel (8–12%), and Carbon (≤0.03%), along with Manganese (≤2%), Silicon (≤1%), Phosphorus (≤0.045%), and Sulfur (≤0.03%). The lower carbon content significantly improves resistance to intergranular corrosion post-welding. In terms of mechanical properties, these pipes exhibit a tensile strength of 485–515 MPa, a yield strength of about 170–205 MPa, an elongation of roughly 35–40%, and a hardness of up to 90 HRB. These features make 304L pipes particularly suitable for applications where corrosion resistance and weldability are essential, even in mildly corrosive or slightly acidic conditions.
