Forced Fittings of Stainless Steel 310H contain 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, and greater carbon content than the regular 310 for better creep resistance and strength at high temperatures. Other ingredients are manganese, silicon, sulfur, phosphorus, and iron. These fittings have good mechanical properties such as a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of about 205 MPa, and good elongation of up to 40%. The Brinell hardness is about 217 and SS 310H forged fittings retain structural integrity in thermal and mechanical loads, and therefore, these are suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.
