Stainless Steel 310/310S Forged Fittings are composed of about 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel, with a carbon content of up to 0.25% in 310 and a lower carbon limit (max 0.08%) in 310S to enhance weldability. This austenitic alloy boasts excellent oxidation resistance, strength, and durability at high temperatures, reaching up to 1150°C. The mechanical properties include a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, a yield strength close to 205 MPa, and an elongation of about 40%. These forged fittings provide outstanding resistance to scaling, thermal fatigue, and corrosion, making them perfect for critical piping systems that face thermal and chemical stresses.
