Harsh Metalloys, based in Mumbai, India, is a prominent manufacturer and supplier of premium-grade Stainless Steel 904L Coils, known for their exceptional resistance to corrosion and superior mechanical properties. Our 904L coils are manufactured using high-quality raw materials and precision rolling techniques to meet international standards such as ASTM B625. Available in a variety of widths, thicknesses, and finishes (2B, BA, No.4, Mirror), these coils are ideal for use in highly corrosive environments. Harsh Metalloys serves industries including chemical processing, marine, oil & gas, and pharmaceuticals, ensuring durable and reliable material for demanding applications.
Stainless Steel 904L Coils are made from a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel that includes 19–23% Chromium, 23–28% Nickel, 4–5% Molybdenum, 1–2% Copper, and low carbon. This composition provides excellent resistance to strong reducing acids, pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The coils offer a tensile strength of around 71 ksi (490 MPa), yield strength of approximately 31 ksi (220 MPa), and high elongation (~35%). Non-magnetic in all conditions, these coils also offer excellent weldability and formability, making them ideal for fabricating components used in aggressive chemical and marine environments.
