Harsh Metalloys, located in Mumbai, India, has built a solid reputation as a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality Stainless Steel 904L Flanges. These flanges are crafted to excel in corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, meeting the most stringent standards. We use only the finest materials and cutting-edge techniques, ensuring our products comply with international specifications like ASTM B649 and ASME B16.5. Our 904L flanges come in a variety of types—including slip-on, weld neck, blind, socket weld, and threaded—making them perfect for challenging chemical and marine environments. Harsh Metalloys proudly supports vital industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and desalination with reliable flange solutions.
Stainless Steel 904L Flanges are crafted from a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel that contains 19–23% Chromium, 23–28% Nickel, 4–5% Molybdenum, 1–2% Copper, and a low carbon content. This special blend gives them outstanding resistance to reducing acids, pitting, and crevice corrosion, particularly in environments rich in chlorides. These flanges boast a tensile strength of about 71 ksi (490 MPa), a yield strength of around 31 ksi (220 MPa), and an elongation of roughly 35%. Plus, 904L flanges are non-magnetic, easy to weld, and they hold up well under high temperatures and pressure, making them perfect for tough industrial applications.

SS 904L slip on flanges are designed for easy installation and boast impressive corrosion resistance, making them perfect for low-pressure piping systems in industries like chemical processing, marine applications, and more.
When it comes to high-pressure sealing, 904L RTJ flanges are the go-to choice. They provide a leak-proof seal and exceptional corrosion resistance, commonly found in oil, gas, and petrochemical piping systems.
Crafted from 904L stainless steel, these forged flanges deliver superior strength, durability, and corrosion resistance, making them ideal for critical applications in tough chemical and offshore environments.
For high-pressure pipelines in power plants, refineries, and chemical processing systems, 904L long weld neck flanges ensure structural integrity and effective stress distribution.
Offering flexibility and easy alignment, 904L lap joint flanges are often used with stub ends in systems that require frequent disassembly while maintaining high corrosion resistance.
SS 904L blind flanges provide a secure seal for pipe ends, showcasing excellent resistance to acidic and chloride-rich environments, making them suitable for pressure vessel and pipeline terminations.
Stainless Steel 904L Flanges are widely utilized in environments that are both highly corrosive and under high pressure. You’ll often find them in places like chemical processing plants, offshore oil and gas platforms, pharmaceutical equipment, pulp and paper industries, and desalination systems. Thanks to their exceptional resistance to strong acids like sulfuric, phosphoric, and acetic acid, they’re perfect for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pipelines, and reactors. These flanges also shine in marine applications, as they can handle salty conditions without succumbing to pitting or corrosion. With their impressive strength, durability, and ease of welding, they’re the go-to choice for connecting pipes in critical systems that demand leak-proof performance.
