348H Pipe Fittings are made from stainless steel containing 17–20% chromium, 8–13% nickel, with niobium (columbium) for stabilization and a higher carbon content (≥0.04%) to improve creep resistance at elevated temperatures. These fittings deliver excellent tensile strength (515–760 MPa), yield strength (≥205 MPa), and enhanced resistance to intergranular corrosion. The alloy maintains structural stability under thermal stress and offers good weldability without the risk of sensitization. Non-magnetic in the annealed condition, 348H is ideal for applications involving long-term exposure to high temperatures, making it highly suitable for heat-intensive industrial environments.
