17-7 PH Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings consist primarily of chromium (16–18%), nickel (6.5–7.75%), and aluminum (0.75–1.5%), along with trace amounts of manganese, silicon, carbon, phosphorus, and sulfur. This precipitation-hardening stainless steel has high tensile strength (1310 MPa max), yield strength (1170 MPa max), and good ductility. These fittings may be heat-treated to obtain specified mechanical properties and possess good oxidation resistance and moderate corrosion resistance. 17-7 PH retains high strength and performance under high-stress and mildly corrosive conditions and is used in structural and pressure-bearing applications.
