Stainless Steel 17-4 PH Pipe Fittings are predominantly composed of chromium (15–17.5%), nickel (3–5%), and cobalt (3–5%), with trace amounts of manganese, silicon, carbon, phosphorus, sulfur, and columbium (niobium). Additionally, it contains small amounts of aluminum and chromium carbide particles. These fittings attain their strength by precipitation hardening by heat treatment. These fittings exhibit superior mechanical properties such as tensile strength of up to 1100 MPa, yield strength of over 1000 MPa, and satisfactory impact resistance. With a hardness value of up to 44 HRC (in H900 condition), SS 17-4 PH fittings exhibit an excellent strong, corrosion-resistant solution for corrosive and high-stress applications, particularly in those requiring dimensional stability.
