347H Flanges are made from stainless steel containing 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and niobium for stabilization. The niobium addition enhances resistance to intergranular corrosion by preventing carbide precipitation during welding or high-temperature service. The alloy exhibits tensile strength of 515–760 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa. 347H offers excellent creep resistance, toughness, and stability at elevated temperatures, with good oxidation resistance. Non-magnetic in the annealed state, these flanges maintain mechanical integrity and corrosion resistance under cyclic thermal stresses and aggressive industrial conditions.
