Harsh Metalloys, based in Mumbai, India, is a leading exporter and supplier of high-grade stainless steel unions, recognized for precision, long life, and corrosion resistance. We offer a variety of unions for industrial piping systems, offering leak-proof and safe connections. Our stainless steel unions are produced through state-of-the-art technology and tested as per strict international standards. With a robust supply chain and focus on quality, Harsh Metalloys caters to customers from industries including oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and water treatment, providing dependable solutions for fluid and gas transfer equipment.
Our stainless steel unions are chiefly manufactured using grades such as 304, 316, and 316L, which have chromium (18–20%), nickel (8–12%), and molybdenum (2–3% in 316/316L) that make them corrosion-resistant. These unions provide high mechanical strength with tensile strength of 485–620 MPa and good elongation characteristics up to 40%. Low carbon content in some grades prevents carbide precipitation, ensuring durable performance in corrosive and high-temperature conditions. Harsh Metalloys guarantees accurate threading, sturdy construction, and superior finish in each stainless steel union we manufacture.

Stainless steel unions by Harsh Metalloys are extensively applied in businesses which regularly require pipe disconnection and reconnection. Some of these businesses are chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, food and beverages, water treatment, and HVAC systems. They are resistant to corrosion, high pressure, and temperature, making them suitable for outdoor and indoor piping systems. Stainless steel unions give a rapid, leak-proof, and secure joint without having to use complicated tools or welding. Their simplicity of installation and maintenance renders them a choice for important fluid-handling systems in both commercial and industrial use.
Stainless Steel Unions typically do not require additional corrosion protection coatings due to their inherent resistance to rust and corrosion. However, coatings may be applied for extreme environments or aesthetic purposes.
Yes, Stainless Steel Unions are fully recyclable. Stainless steel is a sustainable material that can be reused without losing its properties, making it an environmentally friendly choice for various applications.
When selecting Stainless Steel Unions, consider factors like material grade, pressure ratings, size compatibility, corrosion resistance, and the specific application environment to ensure optimal performance and durability.
Stainless Steel Unions are available in various configurations, including threaded, butt-weld, socket-weld, and flanged unions, offering different connection types to suit diverse industrial applications and pressure requirements.
Stainless Steel Unions are now widely used in several industries because they are considered extraordinarily durable and resistant to corrosion, oxidation, and high temperature. Most of these find use in chemical processing plants, power generation facilities, and marine engineering, which necessitate reliable and secure connections. These unions help assemble and disassemble piping systems quickly for maintenance and repairs. They find uses in food processing and pharmaceuticals, besides oil and gas industries, ensuring that joint fittings are leak-proof and tight in fluid and gas handling systems. Hence, their versatility and strength make them the dueling champions for commercial and industrial applications.
