To satisfy international standards, our SS 316L valves are made with premium raw materials and cutting-edge technology. These valves are well-known for having a low carbon content, providing excellent weldability and making them perfect for demanding applications. Harsh Metalloys is a favoured option in both domestic and foreign markets because we guarantee reliable product quality, prompt delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Iron makes up the majority of stainless steel 316L valves, but they also contain 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and less than 0.03% reduced carbon, which improves weldability and corrosion resistance. With an elongation of 40% in 50 mm, a yield strength of 170 MPa, and a tensile strength of roughly 485 MPa, they demonstrate exceptional mechanical qualities. Because SS 316L maintains its exceptional toughness at both high and low temperatures, it can be used in demanding settings. Superior performance in welded structures and corrosive environments is ensured by the low carbon content, which reduces carbide precipitation.

In industries where corrosion resistance is crucial, particularly in chloride and acidic environments, stainless steel 316L valves are widely used. Common uses include wastewater treatment plants, food and beverage industries, pharmaceutical manufacturing, marine systems, and chemical and petrochemical processing. They are perfect for use in welded piping systems because of their low carbon content, which guarantees improved weldability and lowers the possibility of sensitisation. Additionally, biotechnology, oil and gas installations, and medical devices use these valves. SS 316L valves are a popular option for long-lasting and high-performance flow control solutions because of their resilience to pitting and crevice corrosion.
