Harsh Metalloys’ Stainless Steel Gate Valves are produced with stainless steel grades including 304, 304L, 316, and 316L. These alloys have 18–20% chromium, 8–13% nickel, and up to 3% molybdenum (in 316/316L) and have high resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and high-pressure environments. Mechanical specifications have a tensile strength of 485–620 MPa, good ductility, and high fatigue strength. The valves are made with a non-rising or rising stem and wedge-type disc to ensure leak-tight tightness, low torque operation, and flexibility to handle a range of fluids and temperatures.
