Harsh Metalloys’ TC Hoses usually have a food-grade silicone or PTFE core with stainless steel wire reinforcement, wrapped in a braided or smooth cover. The tri-clamp fittings are typically constructed of stainless steel 304 or 316L, both of which have superior corrosion resistance. The hoses have tensile strength of up to 500 MPa (in fittings), superior flexibility, and superior temperature resistance from -60°C to +200°C. The synergy of hygienic material content and rugged construction ensures that TC hoses retain mechanical integrity and cleanliness even through repeated sterilization and pressure cycling.
