EP Reducers are generally made from AISI 316L or 304 stainless steel, selected for their outstanding corrosion resistance and mechanical performance in sanitary settings. The electropolishing process improves the surface finish to a roughness average (Ra) of ≤ 0.25 µm, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and minimizing microbial adhesion. These reducers deliver a tensile strength of ≥ 515 MPa, yield strength of ≥ 205 MPa, and an elongation of around 40%. Their chemically passivated surfaces offer high resistance to oxidation, making them ideal for corrosive environments and high-purity process systems that require regular sterilization and cleaning.
