Dairy Elbows and Bends are generally made from stainless steel grades such as SS 304, SS 304L, SS 316, and SS 316L, providing great corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. These are supplied in 90°, 45°, and bespoke angles with radii that are optimized to reduce pressure drop and provide free flow of the fluid. Surface finish is polished to a mirror or electropolished finish (Ra < 0.8 µm), which is critical for hygienic processing. They are supplied in a range of dimensions, thicknesses, and end connections including buttweld, tri-clamp, and threaded. These elbows and bends have standards such as DIN, SMS, 3A, and ISO for guaranteeing compatibility as well as performance in sanitary use.
