Harsh Metalloys, located in Mumbai, India, stands out as a top manufacturer and supplier of premium Stainless Steel 304/304L Channels. These channels are known for their impressive strength, resistance to corrosion, and versatility, making them perfect for both structural and architectural uses. The blend of 304 and its low-carbon counterpart, 304L, not only enhances weldability but also reduces the chances of intergranular corrosion post-welding. Adhering to ASTM A276 and ASTM A484 standards, our stainless steel channels come in a variety of sizes and finishes, catering to industries like construction, petrochemical, food processing, and marine. At Harsh Metalloys, we pride ourselves on delivering consistent quality and timely service.
Stainless Steel 304/304L Channels are made up of Chromium (18–20%), Nickel (8–12%), Carbon (≤0.08% for 304 and ≤0.03% for 304L), Manganese (≤2%), Silicon (≤1%), Phosphorus (≤0.045%), and Sulfur (≤0.03%). Their mechanical properties boast a tensile strength ranging from 485 to 620 MPa, a yield strength of about 170 to 205 MPa, an elongation of 35 to 40%, and a maximum hardness of 90 to 95 HRB. The reduced carbon content in 304L enhances weldability without sacrificing strength, making these channels ideal for load-bearing applications and environments prone to corrosion.
