Based in Mumbai, India, Harsh Metalloys is a well-known producer and supplier of stainless steel 316L nuts. Our speciality is providing superior fastening solutions that adhere to exacting industry standards. Premium-grade stainless steel with a low carbon content is used in the engineering of our SS 316L nuts, which provide exceptional strength, improved weldability, and superior corrosion resistance. These nuts are perfect for a variety of industrial applications because they are made to function well in corrosive and harsh environments. Harsh Metalloys is a reputable brand for dependable stainless steel fastening products in India and around the world thanks to its dedication to quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
The iron used to make stainless steel 316L nuts contains 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and less than 0.03% carbon, which increases the nuts’ resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding. These nuts maintain their toughness over a broad temperature range thanks to their tensile strength of roughly 485 MPa, yield strength of 170 MPa, and elongation of 40%. In environments with a lot of chloride, the molybdenum content improves pitting resistance. Because of their low carbon content, which improves weldability and inhibits carbide precipitation, SS 316L nuts are perfect for high-stress, corrosive applications that call for robust, long-lasting fasteners.
