Stainless Steel 304/304L Angles consist of Chromium (18–20%), Nickel (8–12%), Carbon (≤0.08% for 304, ≤0.03% for 304L), Manganese (≤2%), Silicon (≤1%), Phosphorus (≤0.045%), and Sulfur (≤0.03%). These angles boast impressive mechanical properties, including a tensile strength ranging from 485 to 620 MPa, yield strength between 170 and 205 MPa, elongation of 35 to 40%, and hardness levels reaching 90 to 95 HRB. The lower carbon content in 304L helps prevent carbide precipitation during welding, maintaining structural integrity. These characteristics make them ideal for load-bearing applications, environments prone to corrosion, and high-fabrication settings.
